Our History
It all started back in 1978 when our managing director started working in vehicle rental. From there the journey began to create WA’s most trusted fleet solutions business.
In 1978 Osborne Truck Rentals was formed with seven vehicles in Osborne Park. From there the business grew over many years to become what it is today.
After being aligned with a previous car rental business for over 24 years, we made a change in 2021 to operate as the Europcar WA franchise. This has given the company more flexibility to grow and diversify. Throughout our history, the company has expanded in Western Australia and has 16 locations, from the Pilbara, to the Goldfields, Mid West, South West and Perth Metropolitan area. Along with these locations, the company has also expanded its fleet and has over 3,500+ vehicles on fleet with a range of cars, utes, trucks, buses, 4WD’s and even hybrids.
The business provides vehicle hire for some of WA’s largest mining and resources companies, contractors and government organisations. The business has the ability to tailor vehicles for most requirements and provides a level of service and local knowledge that exceeds the rest. The company works on a customer focused solution, combining years of experience with fantastic service offerings for ensure our clients receive a consistent quality experience every time.
Beyond the rental business, the company has expanded and diversified over the years. The AUS Fleet Solutions group (AFS group) includes mechanical services (AUS Mechanical Services), smash repairs (AUS Smash Repairs), vehicle sales (AUS Vehicle Sales), custom vehicle leasing provider (AUS Vehicle Leasing) and 4WD accessories and fit-out (AUS 4WD Equipment).
All of these businesses make up the overall AFS group. AFS group provides our customers a comprehensive fleet solutions partner that offers a wide range of services and benefits. Each business operates on the premise of providing a one stop shop for fleet solutions, friendly customer service, safe and reliable vehicles, access to a wide range of vehicles and flexible service offerings. Throughout the years, the business has supported the WA community to grow and thrive. AFS group’s goal is to continue to enhance the WA community and keep the state moving.
